HappeningPH Supports #HealthyChoices with Int’l Condom Day Celebration in Barangay 178 Camarin

To celebrate International Condom Day with the theme of “Always in Fashion,” the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) GABAY Community Center in collaboration with Barangay 178 Camarin and its Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) organized a public promotional on the proper use of #condoms for safer sex.

“In 2020, 374 million new Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) occurred globally among adults aged 15 to 49 with 1 of the 4 curable STIs. The majority of this could be prevented with the correct use of condoms,” AHF GABAY’s representative said.

Hence, residents of the barangay were treated to free HIV screenings, contraceptives distribution, games with prizes, and a photo booth to promote #condomawareness and #safersex.

Highlights of the event include, a Photo Booth with games and free screening, a well-attended Solidarity Walk, and the KiKo Market Caloocan Contraceptives distribution with Lugaw.
